The project concerns the acquisition, renovation, development and equipment of a 10 000 m2 building (including 3 000 m2 by UCLouvain and 7 000 m2 by HELHa, beneficiary of this project), located on the site of the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi (GHDC), in order to develop an ‘inter-sector’ building (innovative concept within universities) that will mix training, multidisciplinary research teams, flexible and innovative audiences, state-of-the-art labs, learning centres, etc. in a collective and multi-partnership dynamic in order to train and employ as many young people as possible but also adults returning to study in the professions of tomorrow and in shortage.
