Build a bicycle bridge over the N60 and expand the F45 bicycle highway. _x000D_ The project aims to build a bicycle bridge over the N60. The construction is part of the extension of the bicycle highway F45 (blue line) between the Watermolenstraat and Onderbos. If the bicycle highway were to be extended to the N60, a very dangerous intersection would arise. Therefore, an uneven crossing (bridge) is necessary. The bridge and the section of the bicycle highway form a missing link at the intersection of the F428 (Oudenaarde-Ronse) and the F45 (Kortrijk-Gent). In other words, the project connects 4 cities and ensures a safe connection within the bicycle highway network. The project therefore has great added value. Furthermore, the project is part of the cycling policy of the Flemish government and the Province of East Flanders and the further roll-out of the bicycle highways and promotes safe and sustainable cycling in the future. Of course, sustainable mobility also reduces greenhouse gas emissions._x000D_ Attention: the ERDF project concerns only the bridge (100% at the expense of the Agency for Roads and Traffic). The remaining parts of the complete call for tenders are not part of the ERDF project but are tendered together with the bridge._x000D_
