Innovative Learning Hubs Mastercampus Roeselare

With the Mastercampus Roeselare (MCR) project, VDAB wants to create innovation learning hubs that not only offer an answer to the technological challenges of the future, but also to the greater societal challenge facing us, for example in the field of sustainability, energy and climate. The learning hubs should become a state-of-the-art training infrastructure where discovery, experience and learning are central. Align the training courses offered with the ‘Factories for the Future’ that are designed by the POM West Flanders and in various priority areas of the Flemish Smart Specialisations, e.g. smart manufacturing, advanced materials and energy._x000D_ The open structure of the learning hubs will create a meeting place for all actors active in learning and working within the province of West Flanders. A place where companies, education and the government join forces to train the tech talents of the future together. They become learning parks where children, young people and adults can come together virtually and physically to learn with attention to strong interaction, encounter and dialogue with all social actors. The learning hubs should create a multifunctional learning and living environment in which even leisure activities can be linked to a learning path/learning plan._x000D_ The location close to both the language and the national border will in the future offer opportunities to facilitate both interregional and international projects._x000D_ _x000D_
