The ‘Ctrl+Alt+Food+Shift’ project is an initiative of POM West Flanders, KU Leuven, VIVES and Flanders’ FOOD, aimed at supporting food companies in the transition to alternative raw materials. This project promotes cooperation between SMEs, large companies, knowledge institutions and civil society organisations. The focus is on community building around nutrition and health, strategic planning for the shift to alternatives, and connecting companies with knowledge, expertise and infrastructure of knowledge institutions. This will give (West) Flemish SMEs access to scientifically based product and process innovation.
