The project to modernize the historic heating network of Hauts de Garonne (15.8 km) will secure and improve the distribution of decarbonized energy to 13,000 housing equivalents in the municipalities of Cenon, Lormont and Floirac. It will help save more than 40,000m3 of water and nearly 10,000 MWh of gas per year. The renovation works will lead to a better efficiency and operation of the network, thus increasing the rate of injected EnR&R by up to 89% and reducing CO2 equivalent emissions by 26,000 tonnes.
