The Terre d'Auvignons company, which brings together 6 cereal farmers, breeders and greenhouse workers, is planning to build a collective agricultural methanization unit for injection in the MONCAUT area (47). The unit will be located on an agricultural plot belonging to the company on land that complies with regulatory recommendations while maintaining a logic of proximity to farms as well as the GRDF network. The establishment of this methanization unit will contribute to diversifying the activity of associated farmers by energetically valorizing their livestock manure and Intermediate Energy Vocation Crops (CIVE) and thus will make it possible to secure their structure and sustain the quality of their soils. The biogas produced will be purified, in order to obtain injectable biomethane on the natural gas distribution network.
