The OPL is the manager of the Moëze-Oléron NNR (NNR) and the Yves Marsh (NNR), as well as the parcels owned by the Voutron and Fouras marshes. The aim of this project is to implement the actions of the three management plans. These territories, of great biological richness, whether by welcoming throughout their life cycle, thousands of vulnerable birds or by protecting and maintaining fragile ecosystems both terrestrial and coastal, are of great fragility. Their protection in the National Nature Reserve or by the ownership of land makes it possible to ensure a long-term management for biodiversity. The ERDF co-financing must make it possible to implement the actions defined and validated in the management plans, which are ambitious and subject to many hazards, of which climate change is one of the main ones. These actions must make it possible, at a minimum, to maintain biodiversity on the sites. The indicators of each management plan make it possible to evaluate the management put in place.
