The project aims at the efficient and effective management of all social welfare benefits, within the framework of the modern social policy of the state, to provide a holistic and necessary network of protection to those who really need it, thus guaranteeing the fundamental human right to a decent living and improving the quality of life of citizens belonging to vulnerable groups of the population.In particular, it aims at: (a) upgrading the level of services provided by the Service to citizens, (b) achieving synergy and coordination in the provision of benefits through the creation of a Unified Register of Beneficiaries, (c) implementing government policy in the field of social welfare benefits, (d) continuously improving strategies, based on international developments, but also on the social and economic conditions of the country.(e) continuous monitoring of the benefits and measures implemented by the Ministry of Public Works in order to evaluate them in relation to the objectives pursued. managing the Social Benefits Register in which all data and information relating to all persons receiving social benefits are kept.(g) incentivising beneficiaries of social assistance benefits to integrate or re-integrate into the labour market in order to avoid dependence on benefits.
