The Cohesion Fund Technical Assistance project in the Managing Authority aims to help accelerate the implementation of the Programme as well as to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the management and control system in order to ensure maximum efficiency of national and EU resources. The technical assistance actions concern:Actions for the management, implementation and monitoring of the interventions of the Funds, as well as actions that contribute to the improvement of the organisational structures and procedures for the design, implementation and monitoring of the ProgrammesTechnical project verifications, including actions for the quality control of public projects (where required)Communication and promotion actions addressed to potential beneficiaries, beneficiaries, the general public and information multipliers (e.g. SMEs, journalists), aiming at informing about the funding opportunities and the promotion of projects and results of the Programmes, through the use of various communication channels (websites, SMEs, NGOs, events, etc.)Actions to assess the progress, effectiveness and quality of the implementation of the Programmes, through the preparation of specialized evaluation studies, surveys, the purchase of consultancy/expert services, etc.Extension and upgrading of the Integrated Information System (IIS) for the management of the Programmes, so that there is full operational coverage of the MCSDevelopment/upgrading of information systems in the Grant Scheme Management Bodies that support the exchange of information between Applicants, Beneficiaries, Intermediate Bodies and Managing Authority Conduct of meetings/days/meetings/events for the exchange/acquisition of know-how on specific issues related to the implementation of the ProgrammesEducation and training of Managing Authority executives, Management Bodies and/or Beneficiaries for the individual procedures of the MCS, as well as during the preparation and implementation of interventions in areas where specific weaknesses are identified (e.g. contract management)
