The Project concerns the construction of the Research Laboratories of the New Building Facilities of the Polytechnic School of the University of Cyprus, which will house the following three departments of the School: Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Construction Engineering and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Project concerns the first phase of the construction of the Research Laboratories of the New Building Facilities of the Polytechnic School of the University of Cyprus and the completion of the Project as a whole is expected at the end of the second phase (within the Programming Period 2021-2027). The Building Facilities of the Polytechnic School, when Phase 2 is completed, are expected to house the Teaching and Research Laboratories as well as the office needs of the Academic staff and the Administrative staff of the School which supports all Academic activities. A large part of the facilities concerns the approximately ninety Research Laboratories with the similar areas of Researchers and/or Postgraduate students.
