The proposed Project aims to strengthen and improve the capacity of the Public Employment Service (PES) to support the vulnerable group of young people aged 15-29, who are not in employment, education and/or training (NEETs). It includes the provision of Business Unit Services for Employment Consultants for the Provision of Specialized and Personalized Employment Services to NEETs (Not in Employment, Education or Training) aged 15-29, not registered in the PES Unemployed Register, through the operation of Mobile Units of the PES, with the aim of providing support to this group of young people to facilitate their integration into the labour market and minimize the risk of social exclusion. The PES Mobile Units operate in the districts of Nicosia, Limassol, Paphos and Larnaca. To identify NEETs, 12 NEETs Employment Counsellors with the support of a coordinator, and in cooperation with PES Employment Counsellors, undertake actions, such as tours throughout the territory of the Republic of Cyprus, with the aim of reaching out to, attracting, guiding and supporting NEETs to register with the PES to find employment. The proposed Project also includes the design and implementation of an Integrated Publicity and Information Program for the promotion of the "Provision of services of an operational unit of employment consultants for the provision of specialized employment services to NEETs individuals.
