Information and Training Center for the Strengthening of Employment and Business Action - KEEED

The "Information and Training Centre for Employment and Entrepreneurial Action - KEAED" (hereinafter the "Centre") is housed at 131 Trikoupi Street, in the walled city of Nicosia and is part of the wider network of social structures of the Nicosia Multipurpose Municipal Centre (PDKL) that promotes employment, the reconciliation of family and professional life, the removal of social exclusion, the enhancement of personal development and the encouragement of entrepreneurship. Specifically, the project aims to: A) The creation of a training / support / information / education structure for the promotion of employment and the provision of development and support services for entrepreneurship to vulnerable groups of the population. Removing social exclusion and activating and strengthening the qualifications of beneficiaries to ensure equal access to jobs. In addition, the development of the business activity of the central core of Nicosia and the cultivation of a fertile ground for start-ups. The services provided, in addition to counselling, job preparation and promotion in employment and entrepreneurship, aim more specifically at training carers and providing quality home care and nursing services to facilitate informal carers to be included in training programmes and, by extension, in the labour market.(B) Promoting the reconciliation of professional and family life through the provision of home care and home care services to vulnerable people, such as elderly people, single people with chronic diseases, people with disabilities, people with disabilities and families with special problems by registered home caregivers (in accordance with the terms and conditions set by the Director of Social Welfare Services) and registered nurses in the Register of Registered and Nurses and Midwives, with the aim of releasing informal carers (children and relatives mainly of women) and their integration into the labour market. In particular, the Centre is staffed with specialized consultants who provide the following services to the Objective Groups:- Information on support and facilitation of employment integration through the personalized services provided by the consultants. - Referral of interested parties to the Public Employment Service (PES) and direct connection to state bodies. - Promoting cooperation and networking of employment support structures and bodies and establishing strategic partnerships.- Training and job integration programmes for carers or people from vulnerable groups in the field of home care services. - Specialized training and skills development programs (Vocational and Social) in the fields of employment of interest to the beneficiaries.- Individual and group employment counseling (job search, drafting or upgrading of CV, etc.). Individual and group entrepreneurship counseling (determination of professional profile, development of idea, personal intervention plan, preparation of business plan - microfinance, etc.). - Raising awareness among professional bodies, businesses, organisations, educational institutions and employers on the promotion of the target group on the labour market. - Development of skills development training programmes (Vocational and Social) in areas of employment that wish to integrate. Training and information focusing on modern labour market requirements such as Green Growth, Sustainability, Digital Skills and more. - Training and employment in the home care sector - Provision of home care services - Provision of home care services.
