The MIMEREALITY project, initiated by the PS2E platform, aims to improve the impact assessment of antibacterial and anti-biofilm molecules. Faced with the limitations of current methods, which are often too far removed from the reality of chronic infections, MIMEREALITY proposes a more realistic approach through the acquisition of a state-of-the-art confocal laser scanning microscope. This equipment will make it possible to accurately visualise the impact of molecules on infection models closer to reality in situ. The aim is to accelerate the development of therapeutic tools and reduce the abandonment of molecules during the proof-of-concept phase on animals.
