This affects the quality of life of patients and their mental state, which may result in resigning from further therapy Nanovelos has developed an innovative, multi-application system of administration of anticancer drugs based on proprietary polysaccharide nanoparticles. Previous studies have shown increased accumulation of chemotherapy (doxorubicin) given in nanoparticles compared to free medicine. As part of the project, Nanovelos plans to carry out industrial research to combine chemotherapeutic agents used in the clinic with nanoparticles. Among the formulations obtained, nanoparticles will be selected which in animal models will show reduction of side effects and/or improvement in the effectiveness of treatment against free drugs.
