The aim of the project is to increase the innovativeness of the company and the entire Polish jewellery industry through the implementation of industrial research and development work aimed at developing a flexible prototype forging centre consistent with the ideology of industry 4.0 for designing and testing new technologies for automotive and broadly understood development of the e-mobility market taking into account other industries. The project will create a flexible prototype forging centre in the ideology of industry 4.0 which, without time-consuming investments, will make prototypes of forgings based on the previously inaccessible production capacity and will respond quickly to the needs of the customer’s design units. The centre will be able to carry out forging processes of aluminium steel and its alloys, in a wide range of temperatures for hot, heat or cold. The centre will create a new production potential by combining forging operations on wedge press, screw press and hydraulic hammer in the production of one finished product. The flexible centre will make it possible to produce forgings in short series up to 500 pcs per year thanks to high flexibility at unit costs corresponding to a high degree of seriousness (10thousands,1million pcs per year), which is particularly important for the growing e-mobility market. Once the centre is implemented, it is planned to extend the production capacity to other hard-formed materials.
