The subject of the project is the implementation of industrial research and development work aimed at developing a new regenerative welding technology integrated with mechanical machining and geometric wear analysis, dedicated to the regeneration of forging tools used in die forging processes. The project will develop a new technology of accurate and high-performance regeneration, which will increase the efficiency and accuracy of forging production processes by reducing the amount of waste generated, increasing the durability of tools and reducing the consumption of materials and energy. The main result of the project will be a process innovation consisting of developing an integrated welding and mechanical machining technology based on data from the identification of defects and wear of forging tools using a laser scanner and a crack detector. Combining these three stages of the regeneration process in one system, supporting the selection of parameters of welding and mechanical machining processes, will create a new production potential and will be an innovation in the country and the world. This solution will be a breakthrough for the forging industry and not only because it will increase the production of forgings intended for use in different industries while reducing material costs and losses.Article 25 of Regulation (EC) No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L,., p.
