The main objective of the project is to carry out R & D works aimed at developing a comprehensive technology covering the process of precise location, identification, extraction and disposal of chemical and combat poisonous ammunition (hereinafter BST) on the bottom of marine waters, which pose a very high risk to these ecosystems (with particular regard to the specific characteristics of the Baltic Sea). As a result of the project, a product innovation will be achieved in the form of a globally unique service, the recipients of which will be the market of commercial customers, including: investors of offshore wind farms, investors of infrastructure facilities at sea (e.g. carrying out investments in the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, the Danish Straits), port administrations, municipalities, maritime offices, competent ministries and entities carrying out investments requiring contact with the seabed, within which potentially dangerous substances such as BST may be found. Given the nature and characteristics of the new service, the new service will be able to be implemented as a complement to the seabed treatment offer of conventional weapons and will respond to the reported market needs in this respect. Key elements of an innovative service are the integration into a single service of the following systems: unique location system, identification and extraction and disposal of BST directly at sea (mobile installation installed on a watercraft).
