Castings of steering equipment due to the extremely high requirements in terms of complexity, accuracy of performance and operational requirements are among the most difficult parts to be performed with precision casting methods. For the dimensions of apparatus up to several hundred millimeters and with several dozen blades per wreath, the same dimensional tolerances apply to the production of blades or wreaths from individual parts, which significantly increases the difficulty in manufacturing. The aim of the project is to develop and implement casting technology for integrated axial aeronautical turbines, reduce the costs of poor quality and improve yields through the implementation of a robotic site for cleaning and drying ceramic molds. The objective of the project will be achieved by carrying out industrial research, development and pre-implementation work in the field of: • producing models that in the final operation are glued together in indivisible whole, which ensures that wax models of desired shape and surface quality are obtained, • development and execution of auxiliary instrumentation: injection dies, measuring instruments, instruments for stabilising and combining wax models, • simulation of numerical flooding and crystallisation of the casting of the steering apparatus, • manufacture of ceramic moulds for precise castings of the required high quality, • washing and drying of foundry ceramic moulds – design and execution of robotic workstation and selection of cleaning agent, • melting alloys and precise casting of integral steering apparatus, including the surface modification process of these castings, • heat treatment of precision castings integral apar
