The aim of the project is to develop a new technology of smelting and forming glass, allowing for the implementation of significantly improved superflint glass packaging on the market. Innovative technology, as a result of this project, will introduce new solutions that allow, among others, to: — reducing the energy intensity of melting superflint glass, – increasing extraction from the glass bath, – lowering the melting temperature, – reducing NOx and dust emissions – reducing raw material losses and emissions of pollutants. Following the introduction of innovative smelting technology and molded glass in Dekorglass, the applicant will implement significantly improved superflint glass packaging, with characteristics unprecedented in competitive offer: — no glass defects characteristic of traditional glass melting technology (remains of non-gassed components of raw materials in the form of bubbles and bubbles, phase heterogeneity in the form of cat claw, thermal fusion, viscosity differences, local crystallisation, inclination of unreacted raw materials, etc.), – UV impermeability – it is crucial to achieve UV resistance without generating negative effects on the visual qualities of superflint packaging. The target groups to which the new Dekorglass offer will be addressed are: — producers of alcoholic beverages, with particular attention to producers of premium alcohols, – cosmetics manufacturers, – pharmaceutical industry.
