The project includes the development of innovative solutions for intelligent software for embedded systems in the areas of active safety, driver assistance and automatic control of motor vehicles. They will be designed in compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards which are imposed on manufacturers of components intended for serial production for the automotive industry. The developed software can be run on real-time platforms and will be characterised by stability and resistance to: failures, unexpected working conditions, disturbances, uncertainty of measurements and parameters, cyber-threats. The objectives of the project are to: — development of efficient and resilient algorithms for multi-domain fusion of data from visual, radar, lidar, GPS and wireless communication between cars and road infrastructure elements; — development of software and hardware tools supporting the production and testing of software for critical systems for safety reasons in the context of the standards in the automotive industry; — development and selection of appropriate encryption methods and algorithms to ensure the safety of motor vehicles against cyber threats; — developing a dynamic car environment model based on information obtained from multi-domain data fusion algorithms; — optimisation of active safety, driver assistance and automatic driving systems; — verification of algorithms to the full extent of real road conditions. in accordance with Article 25 of EC Regulation No 651/2014 of 17 June 2014 declaring certain types of aid compatible with the internal market in the application of Articles 107 and 108 of the Treaty (OJ L.
