The concept of the City of Health refers to the WHO initiative of 1987. The “Healthy City” should have the right policies and consistently implement them, meeting the need for the health of residents at all stages in a thoughtful, planned, economically optimal and private manner. The project involves carrying out development work and creating a demonstration installation integrating services aimed at improving the well-being of the city’s residents in the health aspect. Within the project will be created telemedicine devices, i.e. Remote KTG, Life Button, Portable Telemedical Position, Portable EKG Diagnostics Cameras, Telemetric Cameras for EKG Monitoring of Patients in the Hospital and Medical-Hub Class devices. An ICT platform will also be created, allowing for the implementation of remote medical services, covering patients with telemedicine consultations and integrating medical data and manufactured devices, which will also include the systems of the Electronic Health Book and the Analytical and Reporting Platform. The whole system created will enable the city’s residents to provide demonstration services: Remote Nurse, Remote Rehabilitation and Prevention, Remote Midwife, Remote Clinic and Remote Care. The Electronic Health Book, together with the built-in expert system, will implement advanced medical data processing, and the Analytical and Reporting Platform will enable the city authorities to analyse trends of social, medical, economic and epidemiological phenomena and recommend individualised offers of services, products or health-promoting events tailored to their tastes and lifestyles.
