The subject of the project is the development and validation of a computer model of supporting gas management management with the possibility of optimisation in ArcelorMittal Poland SA – Branch in Dąbrowa Górnicza. As part of the planned industrial research, the development of a computer model for optimising the gas economy of the steelworks, including by-products of combustible gases and technological gases. Based on databases from the gas network and individual departments of the steelworks and developed procedures for advanced validation of input data, the developed model will optimise the management of gas management. As part of the development work, it is primarily envisaged to validate the response from the developed computerised management model, in order to assess the correctness of performance in operation in close to real conditions. The individual approach to the structure of the gas economy of the steelworks, taking into account the specific requirements of end-users, as well as the application of advanced validation of data input to the model, is part of process innovation. Upon completion of the project, it is planned to implement the developed and validated model of supporting gas management in the ArcelorMittal Poland SA – Branch in Dąbrowa Górnicza.
