SMARTRACK – Research infrastructure for autonomous vehicle systems

The aim of the project is to develop the R & D centre Aptiv Services Poland S.A., which consists of creating an infrastructure designed for the development of components of active and passive vehicle safety systems. The investment will include the execution of construction works and the acquisition of research equipment, in order to create a test track with reference devices. The project will allow the Company to develop in the areas of research, design and development of microprocessor systems of multi-domain controllers, radar systems and video equipment for active driver assistance and the creation of autonomous vehicles, as well as the development of passive and secure access systems to cars. It is envisaged to develop a range of globally innovative technologies for access to cars and new generation sensors for autonomous L3, L4 and L5 levels according to the SAE classification, which will help to increase vehicle autonomy.
