The project is a response to the demand of Polish and Central European economies for machinery and waste treatment technology that meets the requirements of users. The project will consist of implementing a new, innovative product from PROTECHNIKA Grzegorz Kowalczyk – a complete technological sequence for the production of alternative fuels (RDF) based on municipal waste. In addition to the production and sale of complete sets of machines (trains), the company will produce individual components as well as spare parts. The project is characterised by innovation on a trans-national scale. This is due to the technological solutions used for the sale of machinery, including those that are patented. This affects their functions from the perspective of the final recipient – waste management. These include, for example: capacity to process the subsitative fraction of waste, the ability to produce safe and aseptic fuel in 100 % on the basis of municipal waste, fuel parameterisation (defined physics and fuel chemistry), energy efficiency. All of these features reflect solutions developed on the basis of several years of R & D work including cooperation with research units (UR), the implementation of which is the project. Technically, this application concerns an investment involving the launch of a new machine manufacturing plant together with a design centre. For this purpose, a new production and storage and office hall will be built and the full technical equipment required for the production of the abovementioned machines will be purchased. Who will be the recipient of TYTAN ONE? The recipients of the product in Poland will be among others. Regional Installations for Urban Waste Processing, which are currently facing the problem of the management of the subset fraction of municipal waste.
