SynerGa is a project whose aim is to present a model of deep Carpathian folds as an element of the oil system, in the eastern part of the outer Carpathians. The model will be prepared on the basis of a wide range of studies, within research areas, the selection of which will be made after discussion with PGNiG SA. The project shall include: stratigraphic and sedimentological analysis of the basin of the eastern part of the Carpathians, biogeochemical analysis of parent rocks, determination of biodegradation susceptibility and microbiological capacity of gas generation, construction of geomechanical and structural model of selected carpathic structures of folding-based structures, and structural analysis of the results of analysis, simulation of the flow of oil and overlay waters, structural interpretation of data. A unique element of the project is a biogeochemical experiment that verifies the possibilities of microbiological gas generation and allows to identify the basic elements of the gas generation model based on the chemical characteristics of the rock matrix, the composition of microbiological units and the composition of the gas generated. As part of the statistical analysis, the possibilities of microbiological gas generation under laboratory conditions will be mapped. In the identification of the petroleum system, a path will be used including field, laboratory, core analysis, seismic and gravimetric data. The synergy of research will allow to determine the evolution of the basin and the oil system using advanced numerical techniques and technological experiments. Based on the integrated results, detailed maps of the test areas and a general map indicating their relationship to
