The aim of the project is to develop environmentally friendly lubricants for the needs of the food industry. It is planned to develop a lubricant that meets high operational requirements, while maintaining environmental neutrality, which will indirectly minimise the negative impact of lubricants on the ecosystem. Environmentally friendly lubricants that are harmless to humans and the environment will be developed and produced, which outweighs the current industrial lubricants offered on the market. It should be noted that many raw materials are unacceptable for the production of lubricants intended for use in the food industry, especially in the area of oil bases or functional additives. Appropriately selected raw materials will protect the operational properties, especially when high requirements for corrosion protection or oxidative stability are imposed. The implementation of the project will enable the start of production and implementation of environmentally friendly lubricants obtained on the basis of safe raw materials. Key research tasks for environmentally friendly lubricants are: Development of new products based on non-toxic raw materials in accordance with legal regulations concerning environmental protection and safety of food production, improvement of design practice in the use of proven technological solutions for the implementation of innovative solutions in the field of the production of environmentally friendly lubricants,? development of a system of monitoring of quality indicators relevant to the certification requirements and needs of the food manufacturing industry.
