The scope of the project includes the reconstruction of the power station GPZ 110/15 kV Thundering to enable the development of renewable energy. The station is part of a distribution network at a voltage of 110 kV, where electricity is transformed to a voltage of 15 kV. 110/15 kV Thundering Station is located at ul. Co-operative 14 in Grzmijąca (Grzmijąca commune) on plots No. 4/23 and 4/25, 0013-Budder area. The land is in perpetual use of ENERGA-OPERATOR SA (KO1I/00029281/4 and KO1I/00022121/6). The total area of the property on which the station is located is 1.0425 ha. The municipality is located in the eastern part of the Zachodniopomorskie Voivodeship in Szczecin County. The municipality is one of the 9 communes of Szczecin County. It is adjacent to the gminas of Szczecinek, Barwice (p. Szczecinecki), Bobolice (b.Belagard) and Tychowo (Mr. Kosaliński). The direct objective of the Project is to increase the potential for connecting renewable energy sources to the grid, and to increase the reliability of electricity supply in the area of impact of the project. The indirect objectives of the project shall be: • improving the energy performance of the supplied energy, • contributing, by increasing the ability to take more energy from RES into the grid, to reduce the demand for the production of energy from conventional sources, thereby reducing fuel consumption and, consequently, reducing emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, • improving the efficiency of the distribution system. The aim of the Project at product level is to: modernisation of 1 power stations, (b) additional capacity to connect renewables to the electricity grid of 8,36 MW. The project’s objective at the result level is to: reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. This will be achieved by increasing the capacity to connect renewable energy sources to the grid. The Project’s objective at the level of impact is to: it’s a good thing.
