Improvement of energy efficiency of the building of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology at Plac Trzech Krzyży 3/5 in Warsaw

The total usable area of the building is 22727.5 m². The building is used by about 870 employees. The main objective of the project is to improve air quality in the capital city of Warsaw by reducing pollution emitted into the atmosphere and increasing the energy efficiency of the building. This objective will be achieved by: 1. Efficient use of heat energy. 2. Reduction of heating costs of buildings. 3. Improving the conditions of use of public utility facilities. The investment will improve energy efficiency, reduce the annual demand for heating energy and prepare hot water. Improving energy efficiency will result in savings in the building’s operating costs. Deep, comprehensive thermal modernisation of the Ministry of Development building means an undertaking that improves the energy efficiency of the building, the object of which is an improvement aimed at reducing energy losses by: — modernisation of the ventilation system in conference rooms A, B, C and D (including the replacement of the existing glycol recuperator with a typical anti-current recuperator with high efficiency) – warming of the ceiling over the passages with undershadows above the ground floor of the building, – warming of the floor of the fourth floor, – comprehensive modernisation of the central heating system, – comprehensive modernisation of the central heating system.
