The aim of the project is to modernise and expand the infrastructure of KLRiW GIOŚ with its registered office in Krakow and to upgrade the measurement network for air quality monitoring in the country. As a result of the project, 436 measuring stations and two procedures for monitoring the environment will be created. The development of laboratory infrastructure for testing and calibration, as well as increasing the technical and measurement capabilities of air quality monitoring networks, will contribute to improved and easier access of individual WIOŚ to the tests carried out and will provide even better conditions for maintaining measurement consistency and high quality measurements in air monitoring networks. The project will result in:•increase the amount of air quality data, •better use of standards used by KLRiW, easier access to comparative tests and calibrations for air monitoring networks, •better management of laboratory infrastructure KLRiW, •improvement of measurement coherence and data quality in air quality monitoring networks. The direct product obtained as a result of the project will be modernised and extended calibration and calibration infrastructure for atmospheric air testing. The subject of the project is the purchase of laboratory equipment. The purchased laboratory apparatus will allow the performance of statutory tasks: •Comparative tests for particulate dust collectors • proficiency tests in the scope of gas analysers • checking and calibration of analysers and testing of sampling systems at air monitoring stations in Poland •calibration of analysers, checking calibrators, cylinders with reference gases • conducting equivalence tests for particulate matter meters.
