The subject of the project is the review and updating of flood risk management plans (APRP), which is an obligation under Article 173. 19-21 Water Law, necessary for the implementation of Article 14(3) of the Water Directive. Reviews and updates of the PZRP in accordance with the principles of the Flood Directive are developed as 3, the final stage of the development of planning documents within the planning cycle II (after the revision of the WORP and the IMO and IMF updates). The overarching objective of the project is to reduce the potential negative effects of floods on human life and health, the environment, cultural heritage and economic activities on areas at risk of flooding. This is the objective of flood risk management, in line with the Water Law and the Water Directive.
