Rainwater Management Systems in the City of Olsztyn

The project “Purrent Water Management Systems in the Town of Olsztyn” is located in the City of Olsztyn, the capital of Warmia-Mazury voivodship, which lies in the macro-region of the Mazury Lake District on the rivers Łyna and Wadzieg. The danger to the environment in Olsztyn is the excess of noise standards and deficiencies in the rainwater drainage system. The main objective of the project is to increase the amount of water retained and adapt to climate change, including safeguarding and increasing resilience to natural disasters, in particular natural disasters and environmental monitoring. The specific objective of the project is to regulate the rainwater management system in the city of Olsztyn through the construction and reconstruction of the rainwater drainage network and equipment to protect the city from adverse weather effects.
