Increasing the sustainability of ecological corridors in the Parseta Basin

The aim of the project is to increase biodiversity by restoring morphological continuity of ecological corridors on 3 tributaries of the Parseta river: Radusha, Goose and Perznica. Implementation of the project will make it possible to remove barriers created by existing infrastructure and will ensure the conditions for the free movement of fish and minog species onto SOOS Natura 2000 Parsęty basin PLH320007. The clearance of the ecological corridor will take place by adapting hydrotechnical structures to the ecology of migratory gat.: river fly, stream fly, Atlantic salmon, whitefin head and goat. The Parsêta basin is a relatively coherent ecosystem, but over many years, numerous hydrotechnology buildings have significantly reduced the diversity of biols, making it difficult or completely impossible for fish to reach spawning grounds. Despite the presence of convenient, natural spawning sites (especially on Goose, Radusza and Perznica) access to them is very difficult, and in some cases impossible. Main elements of the project: 1. Preparation of doc. techn. for the reconstruction of hydro-technical infrastructure. 2.Reconstruction of hydrotechnical infrastr. equipment ensuring free migration of fish and minogs (restore continuity on the rivers Perznica, Radusz and Goose). Decommissioning 14 degrees, 5 valves, and 1 cavity. Structure 47 sharp, stabilised bottom, stone overhead with drop profiling, waterproof walls, incorporation of gravel substrate. 3.Active habitat protection (fighting poaching, fishing pressure ogre 4.Conducting research on the results achieved by Ekol 5.Information and promotion of the project 6.Project management
