Natura 2000 – City of Bytom Odrzański

1.Protection of the precious natural areas of the Oder Valley in the area of 6040,33 ha and the Special Area of Kozioróg Habitats in Czerna o area. 142.8 ha 2.Strengthening mechanisms for the protection of protected species of oak and oak goat, 3.Creating conditions for the permanent preservation of flood forests and celery meadows (91E0, 91F0, 6440) – naturalisation by restoring the stock of dead wood and combating invasive alien species, mowing celery meadows. 4.Proper targeting of tourism in the intervention area in order to reduce uncontrolled tourist pressure on protected areas of natural habitats (91EO, 91FO, 6440). 5.Development of green infrastructure.6.Educational activity addressed to schoolchildren – “Green School on Natura 2000 site”. 7.Creation of ecological corridors for dendrophilic insects.8.Research programme – “Programme for the Conservation of Active Oak Cubes and the Capricorn of Oaks over the Central Oder”.The implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the objectives of Action 2.4 Nature conservation and environmental education, i.e. increasing habitats supported in terms of better protection status, reflecting the direct result indicator included in this project – “Surface to obtain better protected habitats”.
