The project includes the modernisation of three units: Januszkowice, Wróblin and Zwanowice together with accompanying facilities, including fish drifts. Jazy are located in the Opolskie Voivodeship, on the channelled section of the Oder. The common feature of the three is the type of seals used to maintain the water flooring of the so-called sectoral closures. The current closures are not able to provide the required shipping depths in the Oder. The project will have an impact on the development of inland waterway transport, improving the state of the environment, improving fish migration, reducing pollutant emissions into the atmosphere, reducing noise-related nuisances, and creating opportunities for the development of super-dural areas.
