The project includes modernisation of the shipping lock and reconstruction of the water level crossing Brzeg Dolny, located on the channelled section of the Oder in km 281 + 600 river, in the Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, in Średzki and Wolów districts, respectively, in the municipalities of Miękina (from the south: sluice) and Bank Dolny (from the north: it is located near the town of Brzeg Dolny and the village of Wały.
