The project consists of the construction of the S5 expressway on pc. Nowy Marzy – Bydgoszcz with total length. 73.84 km, located in the north-central part of Poland and passing through the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. This section is located in the TEN-T comprehensive network. As a result of the project in 2019, the output indicator – construction of 73.84 km of new roads will be achieved. The project consists of 4 sections (contracts): 1: Design and construction of the S5 expressway from St. “Nowe Marzy” (without a junction) to “Dworzysko” (with a junction) approx. 23,3 km; from km 1 + 798.08 to km 25 + 108,48, 2: The design and construction of the S5 expressway from St. “Dworzysko” (without a junction) to “Aleksandrowo” (with a junction) approx. 22,4 km; from km -0+ 021.00 to km 22 + 339.41, 3 – Design and construction of the S5 expressway on the section from “Aleksandrowo” (with a junction) to “Tryszczyn” (with a junction) length approx. 14,7 km; from km -0+ 015.43 to km 14 + 678.76, 4 – Design and construction of the S5 express road at the intersection from “Tryszczyn” (without a junction) to the “White Błota” (without a junction) approx. 13,5 km; from km 14 + 678.76 to km 28 + 151,79. A 2-lane cross-section with 2 lanes is provided throughout the S5 road, with the exception of a section with collection and distribution routes, a dividing belt and an emergency lane, adapted to the projected traffic level. The established field reserve allows further extension of the cross-section of the road to 3 lanes in each direction.
