The main part of the project is the construction of the Bolków ring road within national road No. 3 with parameters of the GP class road (5.68 km) together with the reconstruction and extension of the national road 5 (2.11 km) to the GP class parameters. This bypass runs a new footprint on the north-western, south and partly eastern side of the town and the municipality of Bolków. The ring road connects with the existing dk No. 5 located on the south-eastern part of the analysed area, which will be rebuilt and extended to the GP class road as part of this investment. The Bolków bypass starts in km 0 + 000.00 in the intersection with the existing dk No 3 (north-west of Bolków) and ends in km 5+ 676.28 with the inclusion in the existing course No 5 (south-east of Bolków). The connection of the new bypass with the existing dk No. 3 takes place by means of a planned road junction, and the adjacent road network will be connected to the investment described by means of 3 single-level scanned intersections. As part of this investment, it is planned to rebuild and extend the existing dk No. 5, in order to link the Bolkow ring road with the S3 Legnica – Bolków – Lubawka expressway. The road is located on the south-eastern side of Bolków, starts in km 5 + 676.28 of the existing dk 5 and ends in km 7 + 782.84.
