Works on railway line No. 8, section Warka – Radom (Lot C, D, E)

The subject of the Project is the modernisation of the railway line No. 8 on the Warka – Radom section (LOT C, D, E), from km 58.100 to km 100.850. The robots were divided into three episodes: —LOT C from km 58.100 to km 63.400, -LOT D from km 63.400 to km 85.500, -LOT E from km 85.500 to km 100.850, including: • construction of the second track on the Warka – Radom section and reconstruction of the existing bridge over the Pilica river, • comprehensive modernisation of the infrastructure in order to increase the maximum speed for passenger trains to 160 km/h and 120 km/h for freight trains and pressure of 221 kN/axe, • conversion of parts of the station and passing stations into passenger stops, • construction of two-storey intersections at the point of intersection with roadways with the highest traffic ratio. As part of the project’s material scope, construction/reconstruction is planned: • 2 road viaducts, • 5 viaducts, • 14 railway bridges, • 2 road bridges, • 2 underground passages. In addition, the project includes the adaptation of platforms to the needs of disabled people with reduced mobility at 1 stations and 9 stops.
