Purchase of 10 new electric traction units for agglomeration operations and modernisation of the maintenance facilities of rolling stock. The warehouses will be used to handle agglomeration traffic in the Gdańsk Śródmieście – Lębork railway corridor. The applicant also allows the operation of rolling stock from Gdańsk Wrzeszcz to Gdynia (via lines PKM i.e. line 248 and further through line 201 of PKP PLK S.A. to Gdynia) in case of electrification. The project will primarily affect the area of cities: Gdansk, Sopot, Gdynia, Rumi, Redy, Wejherowa and Lęborka. The project also plans to purchase the necessary equipment for the maintenance of rolling stock: — Mobile sander, – Mobile working platform for access to the roof of vehicles, – Portable column lifters, – Cleanliness equipment, – Self-governing device for emptying tanks of vacuum fecals WC, Existing facilities Applicant has no equipment enabling the proper maintenance of new vehicles. The abovementioned equipment is necessary both in order to maintain the rolling stock during the warranty period and at a later stage of operation (including during the lifetime of the Project).
