The aim of the project is to optimise the functional capabilities of the museum facility, including in particular the glass courtyard. To this end, modern exposition and information systems will be created within the permanent exhibition of Polish contemporary art and applied interdisciplinary activities (including the latest presentation technologies) aimed at creating optimal conditions for the use of the space of the glass courtyard, so that it can be used to implement various types of cultural projects. These activities will allow the Museum to organise various types of complex exhibition projects, which will broaden and make the program’s offer more attractive. Planned elements of education in the area of permanent exhibition will extend the educational offer of the Museum and the possibility of interactive activities for an individual viewer (choice of the tour path, in-depth information about presented works, creators, etc.). The project also takes into account the needs of people with disabilities (systems and devices are designed to create a synergistic team allowing people with varying degrees of vision and hearing dysfunction in a multidimensional way to make space available). By improving the effectiveness of the substantive activity (exhibition, education) it will be possible to fully exploit the potential of the exhibition facility of the Four Domes Pavilion – an element of UNESCO’s world heritage.
