The aim of the project is to maintain the necessary working conditions and the potential of the intermediary institution OPI 2014-2020 (Centre for EU Transport Projects) in order to ensure the effective performance of its duties and to strengthen the capacity of the two largest beneficiaries of OPI 2014-2020, i.e.: The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways and PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A., necessary for the proper performance of tasks related to the implementation of road and rail projects co-financed by the ERDF, FS and the Connecting Europe Facility, CEF (excluding actions financed under CEF technical assistance). In order to achieve this objective, it is important to ensure an adequate number of staff with specific qualifications, the possibility of expert support and appropriate administrative and technical facilities. This is why the project plans to finance expenditure on staff salaries (excluding IP), expenditure on upgrading staff qualifications, expert support (including legal support), support for the implementation process (including the process of recruitment and evaluation of projects by IP) and organisational, technical and administrative expenditure. In addition, IP expenditure will be financed to provide a system of monitoring and control of projects, as well as information and promotion activities and evaluation activities. The evaluation tasks will be carried out in order to strengthen the efficiency of the programme implementation system. The above actions are in accordance with the OPI 2014-2020 and the Detailed Description of the priority axis 2014-2020 and will be implemented in accordance with the rules applicable to technical assistance projects of the OPiŚ 2014-2020.
