This project consists of the execution of 16 security nodes and the provision of secure internet access services by school service providers. Nodes of the safety network will be equipped with devices that implement individual functional elements of the services provided, built on the basis of available reliability mechanisms. Application and system elements will be based on dedicated and virtualised solutions based on server infrastructure. The infrastructure providing security services will be positioned on a publicly accessible co-location area to enable operators providing school Internet access services and connections to the OSE network in connection with related and complementary projects beyond the scope described in this document to operate from schools. The operator’s provision of secure internet access for pupils and teachers of schools to which the operator is connected to the Internet will consist of redirecting traffic to and from school to the safety node launched by the project and then receiving traffic by the operator.
