The aim of the project is to provide access to high-speed broadband Internet for households and educational establishments belonging to the so-called. “white spots” in the Białystok area. In order to achieve this goal, the Applicant has set up a modern broadband network. The network designed for this investment will be built in an area at risk of digital exclusion (due to the lack of such infrastructure in the area). The investment will have a positive impact on the elimination of territorial high-speed broadband gaps. The area of impact of the network covers selected localities from the Bialystok, Sokolskie and Białystok districts (286), and it is a coherent whole in terms of infrastructure and topology. The target group of the project are households and educational establishments designated by UKE as “White Spots”, located in the areas of designated localities, which are within the range of the built infrastructure. The technology adopted to implement the project is FTTH. 799.46 km, including 763.73 km construction and 35.73 km lease, which will cover 15 222 households and connect 116 educational units.According to this concept, the built infrastructure will include passive elements built in FTTH technology, which are necessary for the installation and operation of broadband Internet network (e.g. fibre optic cables, splitters, poles, pipelines, wells), telecommunication nodes for the installation and operation of the broadband Internet network (e.g. fibre optic cables, splitters, poles, pipelines, wells) OLT, telecommunication devices). A modern NGA access network will enable the target group to access high-speed broadband (at least 100 Mbps) and access digital television and fixed telephony via a single transmission medium.
