The portal of the Republic of Poland will be the main service of the Polish government – the central gateway to digital information and services of the state, created by the Ministry of Digitalisation in cooperation with the public administration. It will contain information, press and multimedia materials, and ultimately it will also serve as a presentation function of a catalogue of all services, information and public administration entities. The project to modernise the portal will meet the needs of officials who expect a harmonised system to publish content, as well as citizens who count on easily accessible information in digital channels. On the portal of the Republic of Poland, information combined in a coherent and convenient information system will be published. The work on the project can be described as a continuous improvement of the offer for officials and citizens, carried out on the basis of surveys of users’ needs. The project will facilitate the migration process coordinated by the MC. Thanks to it, 118 pages of central, voivodship and self-government offices will be migrated. 11 new functionalities will be created and the content management system will be expanded. This will significantly improve the work of editors in terms of more convenient management and updating of content. Thanks to this approach, officials will be able to quickly publish the most important information on their unit’s website. In addition, a comprehensive approach to the needs of stakeholders will develop a comprehensive concept of visualisation of information and administration services on the Internet. Consistency of the presented content will be maintained. The system is designed to include people with disabilities and reduces digital exclusion. The project also includes training (including simple language) which raises editors’ awareness of the way the content is prepared. The availability of content presented on the Polish Portal depends on the results of their editorial work.
