ProfiBaza – Digital public information on the health situation of the population and implementation of health programmes for disease prevention and health promotion in Poland

NIZP-PZH collects a unique resource of data on the health of the Polish population. As a result of the project, an IT system will be made available through which data will be made available in the scope of:• selected aspects of disease prevention and health promotion implemented by the National Sanitary Inspection,• health programmes/health policy programmes implemented by entities of the Territorial Self-Government, will be directly committed to the digital reporting of the National Health Programme and the results of its implementation,• the health situation of the Polish population. Thanks to this, users will gain access to rich and up-to-date resources that are systematically powered immediately after the resources are made available via the portal as an access window.Through the portal, it will be possible to use intuitive tools for preliminary analysis of data online. The potential recipient will be able to perform data analysis or use built-in system functionality allowing e.g. to generate so-called health profiles (portraits) of selected areas of Poland. This data will be available in 24/7 mode for each visitor of the website. The essence of the project is to change the situation by introducing key improvements in the process of collecting and storing data through the construction of a System that will integrate all sources of data held and obtained by NIZP-PZH in such a way that this information can be made available with an appropriate level of security. As a result of the available data, it will be possible, among others, to optimise the planning of your health policy, as a result of improving the evaluation and effectiveness of actions in the field of disease prevention and health promotion.
