The objective of the action is to strengthen the competence of beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries of cohesion policy funds (PS) in implementing the following strategic projects included in the Responsible Development Strategy: 1. “Partner City Initiative (PIM)” – contributes to increasing the administrative capacity of urban authorities in which specific projects will be developed, applying for funding from the FVCs; 2) “Package of actions to support local authorities in the programming and implementation of revitalisation” – the project involves carrying out analyses and evaluations concerning the programming and implementation of revitalisation, as well as promotional activities (including the promotion of best practices) and educational activities carried out through the National Centre for Regeneration Knowledge; 3. “Action package for areas at risk of sustainable marginalisation” – the project envisages supporting marginalised areas in better management of development policy at local level and will contribute to making more effective use of available FVC funds and improving the functioning of an important group of SEE beneficiaries as government administration; 4. “Advisory Support Centre (CWD)” – the project responds to the need to support local self-government, especially in areas at risk of permanent marginalisation, and will contribute to the efficiency of the implementation of territorially targeted pub policies and increase the efficiency of RPO spending; 5) “Integrated documents” – the project assumes piloting of integrated documents at the level of voivodships, rural commune and municipal commune as well as preparation of a long-term concept for the development of the country (KRK) and will contribute to better planning and coordination of implementation of major development investments in space and mitigation of emerging spatial conflicts, as well as supporting and stimulating the development of potential beneficiaries of FVCs in developing solutions and mechanisms for better development management.
