The project includes a network of European Funds Information Points throughout the country. The aim of the project is to provide beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries with high quality information about the European Funds and to strengthen the competence of beneficiaries and potential beneficiaries when applying for project co-financing and during the implementation of projects. Each FE Information Point (PIFE) provides services in particular in relation to: general information on the FE, the individual Programmes and Actions; B) informing about the possibility of obtaining funding under the FE – i.e. providing the client with information about the implementation system, or qualifying the project idea to a specific priority/Activities in the FE-funded Programme (including the possibility of using funds under the FE, information on competitions and possible sources and forms of financing, information on general conditions, criteria and procedures for granting support and contact details to the relevant institutions); C) to provide information on how to prepare a request for support – i.e. a presentation of the principles and conditions determining the granting of support from the FE, as well as the characteristics which must be characterised by a specific application and the conditions which the applicant must fulfil in order to apply for specific support in a specific Programme/Action/Competition; d) informing how to implement and settle the project – i.e. presenting the obligations arising from the implementation of the project, drawing up and archiving in a correct manner the financial and substantive documentation of the project carried out, as well as informing on the process of auditing projects co-financed by the FE; e) informing about projects – i.e. providing up-to-date information on the possibility of participating in projects implemented by other beneficiaries co-financed by the FE, as well as providing the client with tools to search for projects of interest to him.
