The aim of the project will be to support an important group of beneficiaries of cohesion policy, i.e. local self-government units (communities) in conducting effective urban policy, in particular in areas currently presenting the biggest challenges i.e. housing policy and accessible construction. The project will be piloted and will consist of the development of comprehensive, innovative solutions in the field of housing by municipalities, which will receive a grant in the competition. This will allow municipalities to prepare for new and difficult challenges identified in the Partnership Agreement and related, inter alia, to ageing populations, urban depopulation, energy poverty or climate change. It will be important to disseminate the solutions developed and to promote good practice in this area among other potential beneficiaries of cohesion policy with similar conditions. Thanks to the knowledge gained and developed solutions, institutions will be able to better prepare projects and apply for cohesion policy funds for the implementation of the planned investments.
