The aim of the project is to support an important group of beneficiaries of cohesion policy, i.e. local government units (communities) in conducting revitalisation processes. As part of the cooperation with the Marshals’ Offices in the field of revitalisation carried out in the years 2015-2018, the preparation of 1,029 municipalities in revitalisation programming and 15 revitalisation teams in the Marshal’s Offices was supported. Finally, it’s okay. 55 % of the communes in Poland carry out revitalisation activities. Despite the positive effects of the project, thanks to which municipalities could carry out revitalisation activities, including EU co-financed, only 20 % of municipalities in Poland benefit from the solutions indicated in the revitalisation act, using a transitional period allowing the “external” path. However, after 2023, revitalisation activities can only be carried out on the basis of municipal revitalisation programmes prepared in the regime of the Act. Taking into account these considerations and the conclusions of the mid-term evaluation study on the effectiveness of support provided under POPT 2014-2020 mid-term, the project plans to support the Panels. Revitalisations operating in the Marshal’s Offices in providing advisory services to municipalities, including: use the tools resulting from the revitalisation Act, manage revitalisation and involve the local community in the implementation of revitalisation programmes, monitoring and evaluation of revitalisation activities and accessibility in revitalisation.
