The subject of the project is the implementation of the results of research and development, thanks to which Plastimet will introduce an innovative, yet unprecedented domestic and global product – a window, based on an energy-saving system of PVC window profiles with innovative central sealing solution. The versatility of the designed system will allow you to make windows in two different variants – Variant I is the primary product without the middle seal, but with the possibility of retrofitting it at any stage on the market, even after installation of the joinery into a pressure clip mounted on the frame profile and a seal diagonally mounted on the wing profile, thus obtaining a product with higher technical parameters with middle seal in option II. Currently, on the market, the only way to improve the parameters of the carpentry, which is affected by central sealing, is the change of frame profiles in individual window systems, which unfortunately for windows manufactured or already installed is associated with their complete replacement. The project’s scope covers the implementation of the two main tasks specified in the project’s physical and financial schedule: extrusion of the energy-efficient PVC window profile system and the production of windows based on the system concerned by purchasing, assembling and putting in place the fixed assets necessary for their implementation and, consequently, to implement the results of research and development. The main place of implementation of the Project will be the town of Niedźwiedzkie in the Prostki commune, where the centre of extrusion of window profiles is located, and during construction there is a production and storage hall, the planned completion of which will take place in December 2015.
